COM Faculty and Ph.D. Students have 30 Papers Accepted by ICA 2020 Conference

The International Communication Association (ICA) has recently announced that the 70th Annual Conference of the ICA, scheduled for 21-25 May 2020, will not be taking place as a physical event in light of the global novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Instead, it will be convening in May, with its theme of Open Communication, as an entirely virtual conference. The reception and pre-and post-conferences held by COM will not be organized subsequently. Though our members are not able to present their scholarly study and research at the Conference in person physically, we are pleased to announce that over 30 papers of our Faculty and PhD students were accepted by the ICA Conference this year. The Department will continue to uphold the excellence in research and professional education. We look forward to meeting our peers in the field of communication in other future occasions.
