Prof. Zhu Elected Vice Chair of Social Computing and Social Intelligence Committee of CAAI

In the 2019 National Conference on Social Computing (NCSC2019) held in Beijing on December 21, Prof. Jonathan Zhu was elected as one of the five Vice Chairs of the Social Computing and Social Intelligence Committee (SCSIC) of the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence (CAAI).  CAAI is a leading professional society on AI research, with SCSIC focused on the development, evaluation, and application of socially-oriented AI algorithms. 

At the opening session of NCSC2019, Prof. Zhu gave a keynote speech on “The Role and Functions of Causal Inference and Controlled Experiment in Social Computing”.


In addition to SCSIC of CAAI, Prof. Zhu has also been elected to, respectively, the Big Data Task Force Committee and the Computer-Supported Collaborative Works Committee of China Computer Federation (CCF).
